Over the past few months, we have seen local government move more rapidly than ever before to support local businesses as they adapt to and comply with stringent State regulations.

We know that the fiscal health of the City is essential to the wellbeing of our local businesses and that continued support for local businesses will in turn support the health of our City and benefit all residents.

Comevo, a technology company that specializes in online orientation software, has partnered with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce to create Small Business Spotlights, a video campaign aimed at supporting small businesses through the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Small Business Spotlight videos provide latest updates, a peek inside businesses and ways to support the Doers + Dreamers in our community.

Dozens of small businesses in San Luis Obispo are getting some financial relief during the pandemic thanks to a city sponsored fund.

Out of 400 applications, 52 recipients were chosen to received $5,000 from the city’s the small business relief fund.

The City partnered with The Community Foundation SLO County and SLO Chamber of Commerce to provide money for small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
